DARRELL
A. DONOVAN, President,
founder and co-owner of Donovan Brothers, focuses more than 25 years
of construction management expertise on client projects. In addition
to managing the company, he directs the development of corporate
policies and goals for operations, personnel, financial performance
and growth.
DOUG
DONOVAN, Business Development & Quality Control, has
over 35 years of experience in the construction industry. Doug has
a very good working relationship with architects and engineers and
keeps a close eye on quality, a high priority with Donovan Brothers.
This all adds up to a better product for our clients.
KEVIN
DONOVAN, Vice President & General Superintendent, co-owner
of Donovan Brothers, has a diverse background in all phases of commercial
construction. He supervises the day-to-day field operations, working
closely with subcontractors and suppliers to achieve schedules and
budgets. Kevin strives to ensure that each project maintains a high
level of quality and maximizes the owner’s investment as well as
pride of ownership.
EILEEN
R. SOMMERVILLE, Controller, a graduate of the City University
of Washington in accounting, maintaining a high degree of integrity
and professionalism. She integrates all phases of accounting to
provide Donovan Brothers with financial strength and stability.
Eileen works closely with estimating and project managers to ensure
that each project benefits from her financial expertise.
RUSSELL
WELCH, Chief Estimator, heads the Estimating Department.
He reviews all estimates, verifying that your project can be built
within budget and in accordance with the architect’s plans and specifications.
More than 30 years of estimating experience results in competitive
and accurate bid proposals.
DAVE
KESSLER, Senior Project Manager, is a graduate from the
University of Washington with a degree in Building Construction
and brings 15 years of commercial and industrial experience to the
construction process. Dave’s knowledge of earthwork and vertical
construction coupled with his past experience as a developer, gives
him the ability to understand projects from the client’s perspective.
Experience in all phases of development and construction, including
marketing, overseeing designers, entitlements, leasing, subcontracting,
cost control, estimating and scheduling, Dave takes responsibility
for seeing a project from conception through completion anticipating
and dealing with issues before they become problems.
RAY
ATWOOD, Project Manager, attended Central Washington
University and studied construction and industrial supervision.
Ray has over 15 years of construction experience in both commercial
and industrial projects, and recently moved into the project manager’s
role after spending 12 years as a superintendent with Donovan Brothers,
Inc. Ray works with Owners closely to ensure that the Owner’s concern
for cost, quality and schedule are incorporated into each project.
BRIAN
WARD, Project Manager, is a graduate from the
University of Washington with a degree in Business Management. Brian
has over 10 years of experience in the construction field (3 years
as a Project Manager in a Woodworking Manufacturing Facility, 3
years as a Facilities/Maintenance Manager, and 4 years as an electrician
in the U.S. Navy). He works closely with owners to ensure that all
of their expectations (cost, customer service, and quality) are
met during all phases of the project.
JOHN "SHEP" SHEPARD, Project Manager,
is a graduate of the University of Washington Construction Management
CRT Program. John has over 15 years of experience in the construction
field and has worked all over the West coast. He has had exposure
to a wide variety of trades including steel work, iron work, concrete,
wood and light gauge metal framing, and a variety of finishes.
Previously with Accrete Construction, dba BPCI, and with 5 years
of Project Management experience under his belt. John works closely
with our clients to ensure that their project experience meets their
expectations, and that it is on time and under budget.
DOUGLAS
DONOVAN, Project Engineer, joined
the company as a Project Engineer monitoring job progress and field
operations. Working closely with the Superintendents and Project
Managers, Doug strives to complete projects in a timely and cost
effective manner. Doug is currently working toward a degree in Construction
Management.
PAT
JOHNSON, Accounts Payable Administrator, has over 20
years experience in the construction accounting field, with the
past 10 years handling the A/P Department for Donovan Brothers,
Inc. Pat’s professional approach and attention to detail ensures
that our subcontractors and suppliers are paid in a timely manner.
SHERRY
STUART, Contracts Administrator, has over 23 years experience
in the construction industry, during which she has served as construction
secretary, senior operations administrator, field project engineer,
and estimator. Sherry’s knowledge and skill using today’s computer
programs, along with her excellent multi-tasking ability, make her
a valued assistant to all of her co-workers.
